If we ever get grass

My girls are ready to garden if we ever actually have a garden. So, those of you reading this, we love vegtables and will gladly accept anything you don't want from yours. I think I must be the only house in the neighborhood that doesn't have one, nor grass for that matter. :)

Walmart romantic????

Just as a strange Monday afternoon sidenote, I was walking through Walmart today and couldn't help but notice there, in the baby section, was a couple kissing with people standing all around them. Of course I was rubber-necked trying to figure out what was going on when all of them burst out in celebration. I guessed the guy had dropped the question right there in Walmart. Is it is just me, or is Walmart the LAST place you would find romantic. I expect that sort of thing in Arkansas (no offense) but not in Idaho. Crazy.

Scenic River 10K

I have very little to brag about in life so I am taking this post to brag just for a minute about my race this last week. 300 runners and I took 1st in my age division and 3rd girl overall! I, along with the girls, was very proud even though I couldn't keep from sneezing! Anyone else have hayfever?? We even won a night in the deluxe Red Lion Inn but didn't stay because we ran out of tissues.:( What a bummer huh. But the two metals were all I needed to smile.

Air Show!

Our family attended the Rexburg Air Show with family visiting from Oregon on Saturday. So fun! Our kids liked guessing which plane would go the fastest, the lowest and of course the most pretty. The white plane was CRAZY! He was quite the entertainer doing stalls, loops, upsidedown flying and other crazy things all morning. I wanted to take a picture of the Russian MIG but the fly-by was so fast I couldn't capture it on flim (we figure about 500 mi per/hr.) That was the highlight for Dave and I, oh, besides the first warm day in Idaho since last October! Finally a day in the 80's.

Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! To two of the kindest, most supportive people I know. I love you both so much!

Sadee Has A Boyfriend?

After attending a barbeque with some friends last night, Dave and I discovered how extensive Sadee's social skills are and what adventures we have to look forward to with her in the future... or maybe now. After meeting my the kids of my friends family, Sadee decided to go and play with not the one her age (6), not the the older one(8), but the oldest boy, 12-years old! And you should have seen it. She was giggling in her little peach skirt and flip flops with her blond curls just bouncing around, all the while supporting this boy in his baseball game. Her dad and I stood back, speechless, as she smiled and teased this poor kid. Derek's dad said it best when he looked over to us laughing and exclaimed "That cutie is quite the flirt!" To make a long story short she chased him, tackled him, and even tried to kiss him, and after all the fun while walking away, said "Bye boyfriend."
Anyone up for rally forces with me when this kid starts dating??? HELP!!!
